Scott English
Executive Director of the APS Scott English has been Executive Director of the American Philatelic Society since August 2015. Prior to joining the APS, English served in several positions on Capitol Hill and in South Carolina state government. Most notably, served as Chief of Staff to former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford from 2008 to 2011. In 2016, English led the recovery of Position 76 of the McCoy Block of the Inverted Jenny taking custody at the World Stamp Show – NY 2016. |
Chris King RDP Hon FRPSL
As well as being a passionate collector, winning many awards including FIP Gold and Large Gold medals. He is well recognised figure in the philatelic community, his ongoing contributions to the hobby are exceptional. As former president of The Royal, Chris works across many societies and committees, most recently overseeing the move of the Royal Philatelic Society London to the City, and the refurbishment of its new building. With Frank Walton and others, he co-founded the Global Philatelic Library, which offers philatelists a free catalogue to many philatelic libraries and journals. In 2019 Chris was awarded the 2019 Alfred F Lichtenstein Award for services to the hobby. |
